A large colourful and unusual funky baroque crochet sling bag in red raffia bursting with colourful flowers and painted dragonflies.

The bag is unlined and constructed with a shell of crocheted raffia. Much like a cocoon, it is made all in one piece to create a large capacious bag with sling strap handle. It is from my one off range of "Bloomin' Tote Bags'" designs – all similarly exuberantly embellished.

I use strong broad flat ribbon.natural paper raffia which is an eco friendly bio degradable and recyclable organic material made from natural plant fibres. Raffia is so versatile, both tough and durable, yet very light, ideal for this purpose.
