A dramatic and exotic statement necklace lavishly garlanded with silver beautiful paua shells, silver leaves and clusters of gemstones; including labradorite, moonstone, quartz, pearl and fluorite all strung on a handmade ornamental *open style silver plated scrolls and spirals linked chain and clasp.

I was pleased to find these pale silvery paua shells (also known as Ormer shells or Abalone). This unashamedly romantic and unusual necklace that would look simply stunning with with a silk dress, Fortuny would be perfect... maybe that's wishful thinking. Failing that that perfect dress you bought in anticipation of all those summer season invitations, Glyndebourne, Ascot, garden parties at the palace.

*I have devised ways of making chains of a particularly open structure so even a necklace as overladen as this will feel lighter than it appears.
